Use the DMEA online platform with all its extensive networking functions. Employees' networking profiles can be linked to the exhibitor entry and they are then listed as contacts in the company profile.
In the personal networking profile, users can enter detailed information about their own area of expertise and assign themselves to the appropriate interests. About the interests it is made in the networking area and one finds an overview of potential business partners who fit to the own profile.
Variable selection options, e.g. based on names or companies, additionally facilitate the search for new potential business contacts.
How can I activate the Networking?
On the right side of your screen, you can find your communication center.
Just click on the profile picture, and go to “General Settings” and activate the green button “Networking”:
How can I send a meeting request?
You have the possibility to send appointment and meeting requests and keep an overview thanks to the individual calendar function.

Meetings can take the form of one-on-one or group calls with up to 15 participants.
Screen sharing is included with audio/video calls. All communication can be done spontaneously or by appointment (calendar function). The calendar can be exported (e.g. to Outlook).
Your Schedule provides you with an overview of the live sessions you've bookmarked and the meetings you've organized or accepted.
Which networking options do I have?
The Networking page gives you easy access to your existing connections and potential new connections. This is the visualization of your current and potential connections, having options like recommend someone, search for a name, job title or company.
Via the participant's personal profile page, on the Networking page by clicking on the profile bubble, on the Relevant and My Connections tabs, or via one-on-one or group chat.
The match making process recommends suitable business contacts.
How can I possibly interact with an attendee or company in order to connect?
When you click the “Start a video chat button”, you can create a new group chat or a new chat with an individual participant. You can start a new video chat with an individual participant by searching for them in the Search for people search box.
Once you’ve found the desired participant, you can click on them to open a chat. If you’ve found and selected someone you’ve already chatted with previously, that chat will open for you.
You can also start a new group chat using the New group button.

How can I know that my meeting was confirmed?
Every user has the possibility to get in touch with all participants, speakers or company representatives via audio/video calls or chat.
Please note that you can only be found as contact under “Networking” by filling in your details.
The following notifications appear on this tab when:
you have sent a meeting request.
A participant has accepted your meeting request.
you have accepted a meeting request.
You receive a push notification to confirm that the meeting has been accepted and an email confirmation that the request has been accepted.
The "do not disturb" function ensures that everyone can move around the platform without being disturbed, as people in this status cannot be contacted.
How can I check the status of my meeting request?
If you click directly on the meeting, you can see who has confirmed (green) / pending (black) / declined (red) the meeting request:
