Company profile, what is it and how to create one?

The company profile is your first digital touchpoint. Do not miss the chance to make a strong
first impression, share your brand and expand your contact network.
The official online exhibitor and product search engine DMEA-Online Platform is the
place where visitors, buyers and business partners can find your profile.
A good profile engages readers and promotes your image. To help you make the most out of
your online presence and create a remarkable experience.

Self-service link, what is it and do I use it?

During your stand registration process you have been asked for a main contact
person including a valid email address. This person has received an email with the
self service link.
After clicking on it you will be directed to the page where you can start filling your
company profile.

I did not receive a self service link, what can I do?

Self-service links will be sent depending on the time of your registration. Please be patient if your registration has been confirmed recently.

How to set the background image correctly?

The template shows you how your background image and thus your tile view will be seen later on the platform.

The yellow highlighted area represents your entire background image that will later be displayed on your company profile.

The pink highlighted area cuts out the centered part of your background image and will appear as a tile in the exhibitor area. In order for your background image (2560 x 640 px) and tile (640 x 640 px) to display correctly, it is especially important that the dimensions are accurate.

Tip: We generally recommend a wallpaper or mood image and advise against using an image with a lot of text, as texts or fonts may be cropped later in the tile view.

Product list, how to manage the products presented on your profil?

According to the booked Media Package there is the option to present one or several products. Under the tab product the name, image, categories, description, keywords and various media can be inserted. The products appear on the detail page of the company profile. It is recommended to create the product presentation in German as well as English. If the product should also be provided with an appropriate link, there is the possibility to include a link under the tab Additional Links.

Description and keywords, how to improve the findability of your profile?

The description is also an essential part of the company profile. Here the company, offers and services are described in more detail. It is important to note that it is necessary to create a short description and a detailed description. The short description (max. 300 characters) will appear as a preview in the exhibitor search, while the detailed description (max. 5000 characters) will be visible on the company profile. It is also recommended to create the description in German as well as English, as the entries will be published accordingly on the German as well as English websites. Otherwise, this section will remain empty.

The keywords are decisive in the search function. By inserting special keywords, these contents can be included in the search. Single terms are to be separated by a comma. It is recommended to enter the keywords in German as well as in English.
